About The Project
In an election year when the conversation around vote-by-mail had become more divisive than ever, we helped the Washington Secretary of State craft a campaign aimed at dispelling misnformation around the state's tried and true system of voting.  We tackled voter mistrust with local vibes, community connections, and election content that spread only positive energy. As the star of our campaign we created a trustworthy mascot for vote-by-mail in Washington, Mark the Ballot, who traveled the state through hyperlocal billboards, print media, social and video content, community events, terrestrial radio, and a collaboration with the Seattle Seahawks, to spread the message: elections in Washington are accurate, transparent and secure.
